Make Custom Polo Shirts Your Walking Billboard

We hear the word "exposure" a great deal and one way to get that is by wearing custom polo shirts. If you get some branded with your logo and slogan, they instantly become walking billboards for your company and makes it easy for people to spot who someone works for. Whether they are embroidered or printed, as long as it is large and clear, then anyone looking at the shirt will know what your business is about. They can work in several ways. You can get them done for employees or they could also be for giveaways. If you are a charity, people love showing they support a cause, so why not get some branded with your charity logo and what you do and hand them out at your next showing, or offer them to people who give "X" amount in donations. It will make them feel proud they have sponsored your charity and they then become a way to advertise your charity to others.

There are many opportunities for businesses and other groups to use custom polo shirts to their advantage. Let's take a look at a few.

1. Office Workers

There are many ways custom polo shirts can be used by your office workers to promote the business. Firstly, any time they go downstairs to the local cafeteria to get a coffee, they are advertising your business. Any time they go out for lunch, they are advertising your business. If they catch public transport or are just generally walking down a street, they are advertising your business. A uniform is a great way for an office to bond, plus it also becomes an advertisement for you when they are outside of the business. It's a win, win situation.

2. Factory Workers

Everything that was written about office workers also applies to factory workers. Any time they are off-site and wearing the polo shirts provided by you, they are advertising your business. You can be a little more colourful and bold however in your design. In an office environment, you don't want anything too "loud" with your graphics, but for factory workers, besides a discreet logo on the front, you could have the company name emblazoned on the back. You could even put a bullet point form of what your business does, so anyone walking behind can have a read and understand what your business is about.

3. Volunteers

This is a great one for places that are promoting a cause. Whether it be a charity or a foundation that is trying to help people, volunteer polo shirts work on many levels. Firstly it is an acknowledgement to the person receiving the shirt that they are valued. It also can help promote your cause. You could have the word "Volunteer" printed on the back of the polo shirt and then underneath list some of the things your charity or foundation sponsors. It gives legitimacy to your cause, but also becomes a way for you to advertise to others about the benefits of giving to what you do.

4. On-Site Workers

This could be a multitude of different companies. It could be gardeners, landscapers, builders, tradies, pool cleaners, electricians, plumbers, etc. Anyone who is on a work site or has to visit sites away from an office or factory are the ideal people to be having custom polo shirts. First, it makes them easily identifiable on-site, but more importantly, it enhances your company's presence. It also makes the staff look more professional and this is noticed by other people. I know personally if someone is working at my home in a polo shirt that has company details printed, I think they are a great deal more professional than someone who shows up wearing shorts and a tee-shirt.

Polo shirts are a great investment for any company to help increase its professional look but don't forget about the add-on benefits, such as the free advertising that comes with them every time an employee is amongst the general public.
