Stand Out At Your Next Trade Show With Custom Polo Shirts

When it comes to a company looking professional, nothing says it more than matching branded apparel and the best way to start this is with custom polo shirts. If you are going to display at a trade show there are several factors you want to consider. The obvious one is your booth. How you are going to display your products, what branding are you going to do, are you going to use bunting, will you have printed banners, do you have business cards printed, do you have show bags, will you be offering little promotional gifts as takeaways and the list goes on.

There is one very important factor though that sometimes goes missing. What will your staff wear on the day? You may not have a work uniform as such. Perhaps staff come in their own clothes each day. How are people at the trade show going to know who is a visitor and who is an employee at your booth? The answer – custom polo shirts! Nothing speaks louder to potential clients about whether a company is professional or not, is how their employees look. If you invest in polo shirts for the event, it will add a level of sophistication to your business. You don’t need to have advertising splashed all over the shirts. What you want is to give a team look and that doesn’t mean having big loud print all over the polo shirts. There are several things you should consider though.

1) Matching male and female cut: When choosing your polo shirt, make sure there is a male and female cut. Many polo shirts are designated as “Unisex”. These may look fine on any male staff, but will probably look very baggy on any female staff. It is best to pick a polo style that has a fit for both males and females.

2) Material: Standing up all day at a trade show booth can be exhausting and quite hot as you move around showing potential clients everything your business has to offer. In this regard, consider the material of the polo shirt, as this can also add to the comfort. There are many polo shirts now with moisture-wicking properties. They tend to be quite lightweight and if there is any sweat, it will remove it from the body so it can be evaporated through the shirt. The other comfortable material is cotton. Always soft to feel and comfortable to wear, either of these two makes a perfect choice

3) Branding: This is the most important. If you are at a trade show that is offering high-end products, you want a level of sophistication. This is best achieved by a subtle embroidery on the left chest. If you are at an event that is “loud” such as a motor car event or online games, then you might want to go splashy and have something big and bold printed to make you stand out.
